Pastor Peyton & Ada Sparks

Peyton and Ada are the parents of two wonderful children, Kamille and Daniel. She was valedictorian of her high school class and is presently a student at University of Louisiana Monroe. He is a Private First Class in the U.S. Air National Guard and is also a student at Louisiana Tech University.

Their parents are pretty proud of them.

While she is a mother of two, Ada is also an eighth grade English teacher in Franklin Parish. She is in love with her students and community. She has held the positions of High School English Teacher and Manager of SeaView Adult Mental Health Services. As a pastor's wife, her ministry includes speaking at her local church and area conferences, being a youth pastor, singing, and publishing a daily devotional: Daily SALT. She loves being outside, laughing out loud and seeking adventure. She is fiercely devoted to her family and is easily entertained by her dogs. Her heart's desire is to help others, reflect God in all she does, and have fun along the way!

Peyton loves people. He believes the way you reach your community is to be involved in that community. He loves to preach. He loves to dig into the Bible and find a relevant Word for the church of today. Since day one, Peyton has been a bi-vocational pastor. He has been an electrician and manager for an Electrical Contractor, lieutenant of Bear Creek Fire Department, and Vocational College Power Generation Instructor. Today, he is the Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office Director of Reentry.

The Sparks Family

Their Story

My wife and I began pastoring in Seward, Alaska in 2011. At the ripe age of 25, we set out to be the pastors God had called us to be. For over eleven years, the beautiful folks of Seward welcomed us into the community and developed us into the ministry team we are today. We brought those years of experience and understanding to Wisner, Louisiana in 2011 and began the next step in our ministry.

The Mingo Family

Their Story

Jude and Kait are our youth pastors at FPW. They met in 2016 while Jude was on soccer scholarship at LSUA all the way from London, England. They started as friends and then became husband and wife in June of 2020. They lived in Gonzales, LA until 2021 when they were called to Wisner to lead today’s generation.
They were actually in the process of closing on a house in South Louisiana, but under the direction of the Holy Ghost, left everything to come to Franklin Parish and the rest is history.

Jude is still heavily involved in soccer, as he is a coach for the high school team, but he spends most of his time investing in our young people and in the community. Kait runs a small French macaron business, and works full time at the local dentists’ office. In addition to their work at the church, they are both passionate about traveling, food, and reading.
